What Is Breathwork?
Trauma-informed breathwork is an incredibly simple therapeutic practice that uses intentional breathing techniques to relax your nervous system, release stress, and nourish your mind and body.
Forms of breathwork have been practiced for centuries all over the world.
Breathwork is for the purpose of helping you heal yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally.

It’s easy to become overwhelmed by stress and feel out of control. When you focus on breathing, you allow your body the chance to reset and recover from the negative side effects of stress.

When you feel stressed, your breath tends to become fast and shallow which limits the oxygen entering your bloodstream. Your body then goes into fight-or-flight mode.

When you take time to slow down and purposefully breathe deeply and slowly, you tell your brain that everything is OK. Your brain communicates to your body that it’s safe to relax.

About Karla
Karla Snow is a coach, trauma-informed facilitator and guide for those who deal with extreme highs and lows in their stress levels.
She has over 250+ hours of professional training as a certified breathwork facilitator. She is certified through Pause Breathwork, a globally recognized leader in breathwork facilitation and a member of the international accrediting body of holistic practitioners, ICAHP.
Karla is also the founder of Fireproof Entrepreneur, a coaching & education company designed to help women integrate response vs reaction while allowing for focus and honor of each emotional experience.Â
Karla guides people through creating their identity, loving themselves, establishing a vision for the direction of their life based on their Signature Soul Expression, finding their voice and expressing themselves.
